Large scale credit card migration, embedding within various Issuer teams

On behalf of a leading global cards processor, work was undertaken with one of their key strategic central-European Issuers to prepare both sides for an up-coming large cards portfolio migration and, specifically, assessing readiness for the initial ‘Discovery’ phase of the project
- The engagement looked to qualify the status of migration requirements across the entire Cards Value Chain, leveraging Doxa’s tools and run-books.
- Creation of a suite of documents for system configuration and development requirements for the target processor. Artefacts included:

- Enabled processor and Issuer to carry out a focussed & streamlined Discovery phase, illuminating all subjects that required additional preparation to ensure a successful outcome.
Supporting an issuer with their digital transformation programme, replacing the use of legacy solution components with new technology
- Identification of integration end-points required to underpin the chosen feature sets
- Detailed mapping of the chosen features data-usage, and available API functionality to support those features
- Cost analysis of various solution components, with recommendations from both cost and feature perspectives
- Identify differences and/or gaps between legacy & new technology solutions, including analysis of current and target solution architecture
- Creation of API collections for use by the client and various conditioning completed in order to produce sample data to aid solution context
- Construction of feature specific test scripts, with emphasis on known problem areas gained from vast previous experience
